As a part of our theme at Lunar New Year banquet we will have a Filipino performance show by Michelle Olayvar to demonstrate the highlights of Filipino theme and culture. Please welcome Michelle and watch her do dance performance that is unique to the Philippines that is passed on from generation to generation. She will be wearing custom made folk dance Filipino costume designed for this dance performance show.
Michelle was born in the Philippines and then moved to the United States in 1984. She graduated from High School at Rio Mesa in Oxnard. During her free time, she enjoys hiking and walking and also walking her dog everyday. She loves to go shopping and eating desserts. She loves to perform Filipino folk dances. We are thrilled to have Michelle being a part of our banquet and welcome her as she shares her love of the Filipino folk dance with us.
