We wish to give special recognition to visual artist who created the new logo for Southern California Asian Deaf Association.

Please welcome Zione Hong! She is a deaf Korean-American from Los Angeles who was born in South Korea. She and her family moved to the USA when she was a child. Then she graduated from Marlton School in 2012. This fall she is attending Otis College of Art and Design. One of her goals is to become a professional animator. She would like to create animated movies or films which can be enjoyed by signing community and deaf children. She never see any animated Disney movies with any character using sign language. She thinks it is a good way to increase pubic awareness of deaf people and culture. She also would like to become a role model for deaf children, especially those who are talented and love the arts.

1. She absolutely loves to read manga and Webtoon!
2. She hates bugs and has extreme phobia of cockroaches!
3. She loves drawing and photography!
4. She doesn’t like coke, soda, and etc. Since I was a little child. I drink only water is my best friend!
5. She loves talk too much and laugh so easily!
